Château TEYNAC 2014
Château Teynac is located in Saint-Julien-Beychevelle, in the wine region of Bordeaux. It was bought by Fabienne and Philippe Pairault, originally from Paris. At the time, Philippe, an architecture graduate, managed a communication agency. Fabienne was a journalist and lawyer but was managing the communication of a major German brand in the automotive sector. In addition to their professional activities, the couple was interested in wine. When they took over Château Teynac, the property was only 4.5 hectares against the 12.5 hectares today. At the same time, they also visited Château Corconnac and the two acquisitions were made in 1990. Thirty years later, their daughter Eléonore joinded them. Ecological awareness is key to the family, which has been involved in the SME process since 2015 - this collective environmental approach enabled them to achieve a double certification (ISO 14001 and HVE from the 2016 vintage).
