Château du Cèdre - Cuvée le château 2019
Château du Cèdre is a family estate created in 1988 and located in the Cahors appellation. It covers 27 hectares of vines and has developed its reputation, particularly with its wines made from Malbec, but also from Merlot and Tannat. The Château also has some Viognier, Sémillon, Muscadelle and Sauvignon Blanc vines. The vineyard is cultivated with organic farming.
Château du Cèdre is a blend of Malbec (90%), Merlot (5%) and Tannat (5%). The age of the vines varies between 15 and 30 years. The vatting lasts 30 days, without oenological inputs. The aging lasts 20 months in foudres and barrels.
