Whisky Old Scotch

Founded in 1826, Old Pulteney is one of the distilleries that closed for nearly 30 years only to be reopened in 1959, on the cusp of one of the whiskey industry's most euphoric times. The northernmost distillery of the Scottish mainland, Pulteney enjoys a reputation among amateurs: its salty side, enhanced with coconut and broom, has conquered the palates of the most seasoned connoisseurs. Owned by the Inverhouse group, the bottling is mainly aged in bourbon barrels. Pulteney has, in the past, distinguished itself on several occasions thanks to bottlings entirely aged in sherry casks dating from the end of the 60s.
