Château LAFAURIE-PEYRAGUEY 2005
Sauternes

This 1er Cru is one of the most prestigious in the Sauternes appellation. Located in the immediate vicinity of Yquem on the heights of Bommes, Château Lafaurie Peyraguey extends over 41 hectares of a magnificent terroir of gravel and clay. Its grape variety is 90% Semillon, 8% Sauvignon and the rest Muscadelle. Owned by the GDF Suez group until the beginning of 2014, the estate was bought by Swiss businessman Silvio Denz, owner of the Lalique crystal factory.

The wines of Lafaurie Peyraguey exhale a multitude of gourmet aromas - citrus fruits, acacia honey, pear and quince… - with a rich and creamy palate, always marked by freshness.
