Pomerol

5.6 ha of Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc planted on silico-gravelly soils and clay subsoil. It is distinguished by its regularity. With the 2014, it reached new heights. Its advantages ? A deep and young dress, drawing on the black; an expressive and charming bouquet, mixing very ripe berries, morello cherry, sweet spices with a fine woody note, and above all this touch of violet typical of Pomerol; a fleshy, dense, generous and harmonious palate, where we find the palette of the nose, with this mineral note and these core accents specific to grave wines; and a nice finish, underlined by elegant tannins. Class at a reasonable price.
