Sidre Tendre - Eric Bordelet - Organic

The “Sydre Brut Tendre” is a semi-dry cider which required a longer fermentation than the brut of the 20 varieties of apples.

This cider offers very beautiful fruity and vinous flavors, with freshness and bubbles of remarkable finesse.

On the nose, the aromas of apples are exuberant.
The palate is lively with body and substance.
This cider will go very well with poultry or desserts.

Eric Bordelet's estate:

Eric Bordelet's estate is located in southern Normandy, on the Armorican massif in the extension of Domfrontais on the borders of Mayenne and Orne.

The operation is located on upper Brioverian schists, sedimentary rocks dating from the Precambrian; these are rocks formed before the primary era, 3 billion years old. These are normally fairly soft rocks, giving rise to silty or silty clay soils.

Grape variety: 20 varieties (sweet, bitter, sour) such as Kermerien - Douce Moène - Fréquin Rouge - Damelot - Marie Ménard ....
14 varieties of Perry like Plant de Blanc - Autricotin - De Cloche - Champagne ....

Currently, organic and biodynamic cultivation seems best suited in the qualitative sense of the fruit. Indeed, the Domaine d'Éric Bordelet has the 2000 ECOCERT license for commitment to organic production.
