A vintage with a capricious climate, alternating heat and cold, including a frost in April which just lightens the load on the grapes in Yquem. A cold and dry period follows in September, inducing a slow maturation of the semillons which will reveal an undeniable aromatic purity; happy alchemy which results in a subtle alliance of richness and rare vivacity.
