VOLNAY 1ER CRU LES ANGLES HENRI BOILLOT 1964

 Domaine Henri Boillot, located in Volnay, Burgundy, owes its reputation above all to its white wines from the Côte d'Or. Formerly named Domaine Jean Boillot, it was renamed in the name of Henri when he took over from his father in 2005.

Fifth generation on the property, Henri Boillot masterfully manages, with his son Guillaume, a 15 hectare vineyard in the greatest appellations of the Côte de Beaune. Seven hectares of Chardonnay on the AOC Meursault, Corton-Charlemagne or Puligny-Montrachet give white wines that are generally flattering in their youth, but which improve with aging.

The reds of the Henri Boillot estate are also among the references of Burgundy: Pommard and Volnay give racy wines, which transcribe the finesse and complexity that Pinot Noir takes on these prestigious terroirs.
