A piece of the historical heritage of Saint Emilionnais ... This special cuvée is vinified exclusively from very old vines planted in 1901. Clay-limestone soil on a limestone base.

A demanding and controlled vinification process produces a grand cru, of exceptional quality and purity! Elegance, delicacy of fruit aromas, rich bouquet and absolute respect for the terroir characterize this rare wine, which is now one of the greatest wines of the Bordeaux region.

Grape varieties: 50% merlot, 50% cabernet franc. Century-old vines.

The estate: With 12 hectares in the heart of the Montagne-Saint-Émilion appellation, on a superb clay-limestone terroir well drained, well exposed and cleansed by the winds which promote good maturity for the grapes. Pierre Bernault undertakes real in-depth work. The vines benefit from the most precise care, carried out in a natural way, without chemicals, weedkillers or other inputs. Regular plowing, grassy vines, aerated soils.
