Le Clos des Vignes du Maynes belonged to five generations of peasants before being bought in 1952 by Pierre and Jeanne Guillot. Le Clos has never known chemistry and has always been cultivated with the greatest respect for the land. From the start, this family decided to make wines organically, without chemicals, without weedkillers, without insecticides and without sulfur.

The subsoil is made up of hard limestone that can be found throughout Burgundy. The soil contains 50 cm to 1 m of clay-limestone. These are clayey silts in colluviation on an alteration of pure very calcareous silts rich in silica which give the wines a beautiful minerality.

Here then is a lively and refreshing Mâcon with notes of white flowers on the first nose, then exotic. An organic and natural wine from the region.
