CLOS FOURTET 2015

 Clos Fourtet is located on the famous limestone plateau of Saint-Emilion and benefits from one of the most beautiful terroirs of the appellation. The soil is a thin, perfectly draining clay-limestone layer. The 18ha vineyard is surrounded by stone walls. 85% Merlot makes up the vineyard, the rest is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon grape for 10% and Cabernet Francp for 5%. The estate has privileged access to the entrances to the famous galleries dug under the limestone plateau; the wines at the end of aging and as soon as they are bottled find there an ideal setting for an ultimate rest before being sent to the four corners of the world.
