LA ROMANEE - BOUCHARD Père et Fils 1990 La Romanée Grand Cru
LA ROMANEE - BOUCHARD Father and Son 1990
Owned by a monopoly, the flagship of the estate, La Romanée, is the smallest controlled designation of origin in France (84 ares). Located in the extension of Romanée-Conti, it was for a long time unworthy of its rank before regaining its luster under the leadership of the Bouchard house, which until 2005 broadcast half of the production.
This fabulous terroir now belongs entirely to the Liger-Belair family, which seems determined to do everything possible to bring it to the highest level.
1990 is a legendary vintage. An exceptional bottle, which suffered from a slightly too humid cellar but whose quality of conservation has enabled it to survive these few years. A bottle intended for an informed amateur. A bottle of legend!
All the bottles displayed in our website are stocked in our cellar in Bordeaux.
