PRIEURE LA CHAUME - Prima Donna 2015

In 1997, Christian Chabiran decided to acquire a farm virgin of any vines, located near his birthplace, on an old island in the middle of the Poitevin marsh, and to create the vineyard of La Chaume there. Prieuré la Chaume is an organic wine very famous in the Vendée vineyards.

On the base of a delicate tannic structure attributed to Pinot Noir, Chardonnay expresses smoothness with feminine aromas of pear, kiwi or even banana. A balance between fruity delicacy and lingering, slightly lemony freshness.

This wine will go wonderfully with fresh fish in all its forms; marinades, carpaccio, sushi ... and shellfish.

As for a “prima donna” in lyrical art, this cuvée aims for the most difficult role but which produces the most beautiful effect.
