Château SAINT-ESTÈPHE 1982

This castle located in the northernmost cru of the Médoc inherited the name of the appellation. Created by an ancestor of the Arnaud family, this estate was created around 1870.

Small family property which has seen its development for several generations by the ARNAUD family. The vineyard is made up of 8 hectares grouped around the villages of "Leyssac, la Marquette, Laujac", on a terroir of dominant clayey gravel, fine gravel, sandy and clay-limestone forming a good complementarity.

This château produces a wine with an elegant black garnet color, which releases very flattering aromas of toasted almonds and coffee. In the mouth, it is full, dense and develops smooth and fine tannins. It is a wine with a bouquet, tannic without excess, full and delicate. It is a wine to keep which will accompany the finest dishes and cheeses.
