All the vines have been in the Liger Belair family since the 18th century. After six years of studying viticulture and oenology, Thibault Liger-Belair is today at the head of the family company. The entire 7.25 hectare estate is cultivated organically and biodynamically. The quality requirement also involves real questioning at each stage of the production process. Each of the domain's appellations is worked in a different way, depending on their soil and climate.

The richness of the terroirs requires adequate reflection for each plot. Confident in his harvests and that of his wines, Thibault Liger-Belair does not seek to sign his wines but rather to recognize the soils from which they come.

If there were to be a Grand Cru at Nuits-Saint-Georges, it would undoubtedly be the Saint-Georges.

It is one of the jewels of the estate's wines with an area of more than a quarter of the 7.5 hectares that make up the appellation. This ancient vine is planted on a deep, very stony, limestone brown soil, for rich and structured wines, pruned for aging.
