Château d'Aydie - liqueur wine Maydie 2014

On tasting, Maydie presents an intense purplish red color and presents powerful aromas of black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry) and nuances of cocoa, almond and black olive. The palate is round and has a remarkable balance of sugar / tannins / acidity / alcohol. The alcohol is well managed and the beautiful tannic relief can rival the sweetness of the wine.

To consume as an aperitif, as an accompaniment to chocolate desserts such as a chocolate and almond charlotte for example or desserts with red fruit coulis. As for Port, you will find interesting pairings with blue-veined cheeses (Bleu, Roquefort, Stilton)
