The name of the Château Chasse Spleen evokes Charles Baudelaire, poet of the Fleurs du Mal - a collection between horror and ecstasy - who, falling under the spell of wines, would have recognized their power to evacuate melancholy. Located in the Moulis appellation, in the heart of the Médoc, Château Chasse-Spleen covers 90 hectares.
Three grape varieties make them up: 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot (20%), and Petit Verdot (7%). The wines of Château Chasse-Spleen, attractive, round, straight and balanced, would they then have the virtue of giving back a smile in winter and bringing sunshine to life?
