Cognac GROSPERRIN - Petite Champagne 1992
Maison Grosperrin was created by Jean Grosperrin who arrived in Cognac in 1991 after having occupied the positions of agricultural worker, shepherd and sheep shearer during summer. In 1992, he became a field broker and set off to meet small farms in the region, in search of the rarest lots. But in 1999, he took a new turn and bought some barrels of old cognacs. Combined with his three stills, the history of Grosperrin Cognacs begins.
In 2004, his son Guilhem took over the business. He builds up stocks and enriches the cellar with exceptional Cognacs. Also, he selects plots and initiates contracts with winegrowers. In 2012, he went to meet foreign importers and thus developed a network of amateurs and collectors.
Petite Champagne 1992 comes from a small estate of 12 hectares of vines located in one of the most beautiful terroirs of Petite Champagne, in Salles-de-Babezieux.
