Domaine REMORIQUET - Coteaux Bourguignons rouge 2018
Domaine Remoriquet is located in Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the Côte de Nuits, in Burgundy. It has been owned by Gilles Remoriquet since 1979, an oenologist who graduated from the University of Dijon who took over the family estate. The ten-hectare vineyard is mainly cultivated in Pinot Noir, with a small proportion of Chardonnay and produces wines in the famous appellations of Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romanée, Hautes-Côtes de Nuits. The Coteaux Bourguignonsappellation, created in 2011, spreads over 4 departments (Yonne, Côte-d´Or, Saône-et-Loire and Rhône). Gilles Remoriquet respects the Burgundian model of wine-growing traditions: ploughing, limited yields, manual harvest and aging in barrels.
The L’Passe-tout-Bien cuvée refers to Passe-tout-Grains, a blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay grapes made before vinification in the vat.
