Château LAFONT MENAUT 2019
Château Lafont-Menaut is located in Pessac-Léognan, in the Graves region of Bordeaux. It has belonged to the Perrin family since 1990, when Philibert Perrin acquired the property near Château Carbonnieux. He undertakes a deforestation program and finds an old abandoned wash house: the Menaut fountain, it is this which is at the origin of the name of Château Lafont Menaut. Philibert Perrin has replanted over the years 15 hectares of red grape variety and 3.5 hectares of white grape variety in order to revive this ancestral vineyard.
Château Lafont-Menaut is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (45%) and Cabernet Franc (5%). Aging lasts 12 months in barrels, 30% of which are new.
Grape varieties: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc
