Champagne Bertrand Delespierre - Cross Origins
The Bertrand-Delespierre Champagne House is located in Chamery , in the Montagne de Reims in Champagne . It was created by two children of winegrowers: Chantal Delespierre and Didier Bertrand . They cultivate 10 hectares of vines spread over sixty plots in four villages: Chamery, Ecueil, Villedommange and Montbré, all classified as Premier Cru. These independent winegrowers work with their children Clémence and Adrien, and implement sustainable agriculture with the aim of obtaining High Environmental Value (HVE) certification for 2020.
Origines Croisées is a cuvée made from Chardonnay (50%) from the Bertrand family and Pinot Noir (50%) from the Delespierre family. The grapes are harvested from the Crus Chamery and Ecueil. The base of the wine comes from the 2013 vintage, it is aged in demi-muids of 600 liters. This champagne was disgorged in June 2021 and dosed in Extra-Brut with 6 g/L.
