Glen Moray is located in Elgin, in the Speyside region of Scotland . Glen Moray was initially a brewery (Elgin West Brewery) and was converted into a distillery equipped with two stills in 1897. After a period of closure between 1910 and 1923, the distillery was bought and put back into service by the owners of the Glenmorangie distillery: the MacDonald and Muir families. In 1958, it was equipped with two new stills. Its current production capacity is around 2 million liters per year. In 2008, the distillery was sold to La Martiniquaise by Glenmorangie Company Ltd.
Glen Moray Fired Oak is a 10 -year-old Single Malt, aged in Bourbon barrels and refined for 4 to 6 months in American virgin oak barrels of extreme toast.
