KRUG - Vintage 2008 - With box
Krug is a Champagne house created by Joseph Krug in 1843, originally from the Moselle region in Germany. The house has belonged to the Krug family for 6 generations and is today known as one of the most collectible and expensive Champagnes. Joseph Krug worked with Jacquesson when he moved to France and he began by crafting a premium wine from a reserve of separately vinified wines that would eventually become the Grande Cuvée. Krug is a blend of 120 different wines from 10 or more vintages from the “Library Krug”. Each year, the cellar master leads a tasting committee which decides on the final blend. Krug Vintage is only produced in the best years.
Krug Millésime 2008 is a blend of Pinot Noir (53%), Meunier (25%) and Chardonnay (22%) . This bottle has aged for at least 12 years in the Krug cellar.
