Domaine de Naisse - Brenot Beranger - Mâcon Villages - Vieilles Vignes 2022
Domaine de Naisse is located in Laizé, in the Mâconnais in the south of Burgundy . It was created in 1980 by Guy Beranger , first involved in a cooperative cellar, and who began vinifying at the property in 1997. Christophe Brenot joined him in 1999. The estate now extends over more than 20 hectares following the acquisition of plots in the Mâcon-Villages, Bourgogne Pinot Noir and Viré-Clessé appellations. The estate is today managed by Christophe and Elodie, his wife and daughter of Guy.
Mâcon-Villages Vieilles Vignes is made from Chardonnay , with a few vines of Chardonnay Muscaté (a clone of Chardonnay). The age of the vines is 90 years, and they are cultivated on clay-limestone terroir in the commune of Laizé at a place called Le Mont. The wine is vinified and aged in stainless steel vats .
