Made from the most famous single malts from the Isle of Islay including Bowmore, Caol Ila, Ardbeg and Port Ellen, the Douglas Laing company has created an original blended malt (a blend of different single malts). The bottle bears on its label the image of Pete, an ileach (inhabitant of the island of Islay) shaken by the wind. Big Pete is therefore both a tribute to both the inhabitants of his island, but also echoes Peat, which means “peat” in English.

Celebration of the Isle of Islay - of its people, its climate and its whiskey - Big Peat is bottled without cold filtration and now comes in three sizes - small, medium and large - to satisfy fans, until those who are not afraid!
