Saint-Julien

Château DUCRU-BEAUCAILLOU 1981 - Magnum

Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, second classified growth from 1855 in Saint-Julien, owes its name thanks to its terroir of "beautiful and large pebbles" which is expressed in the finesse and elegance of its wines. The 75 ha property is located on the edge of the Gironde estuary, thus ensuring an exceptional micro climate to perfect the good maturity of the great Cabernet Sauvignon and the balance of the black Merlot, all harvested manually.

The traditional, gentle vinification makes it a wine with exceptional aging potential and considered by many to be an example of the Médoc. The second wine, just as excellent, is the Croix de Beaucaillou.
