Château La Conseillante 1985 is a masterful wine, one of the most successful of the entire Pomerol appellation in this vintage. It has an extraordinary smoothness and an extraordinary dimension. Who will not be able to love? Perfectly balanced, this wine can be enjoyed today and for at least ten years. Château La Conseillante owes its name to Catherine Conseillan, who owned it in the 18th century. Superbly located on the Pomerol plateau, Château La Conseillante has prestigious neighbors such as Château Cheval Blanc and Pétrus. This large pomerol has belonged to the Héritiers Nicolas since 1871. Château La Conseillante is now managed by the fourth and fifth generation of this family, Marie-France and Bertrand Nicolas. Equipped with high-tech equipment, the vat room receives grapes from sustainable agriculture.
