Château Meyney 2016 comes from a vintage that will remain in the memory of the winemaker as an unprecedented vintage and whose formidable harvest conditions linked to the superb Indian summer place this wine in the family of the greatest vintages.

Made from a blend of 49% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Sauvignonet and 18% Petit Verdot, this Saint-Estèphe offers a flamboyant and very aromatic nose with accents of juicy black fruits. Very concentrated in aromas, and with a certain olfactory tension, the wine is both frank in expression and restraint. The mouth has a precise entry with a frank acidity conferring freshness leaving afterwards a mid-palate with generous tannins but of great finesse. A creamy sensation persists at the tactile level. At the end of the mouth, the wine expresses a smoky, mineral (graphite) and mashed blackberry character. A Saint-Estèphe with a lot of class and character.
