Chateau POUJEAUX 1973

Known from the 16th century under the name of La Salle de Poujeaux, Château Poujeaux was then an outbuilding of Château Latour.

Owned by the THEIL family from 1921 to 2008, it now belongs to the Cuvelier family, who also own the Château Clos Fourtet 1 st Grand Cru Classé of Saint Emilion.

The vineyard, in one piece, is located on the beautiful gravelly croup of Grand-Poujeaux.

Respect for traditional methods and the use of the most advanced techniques are associated here both in the vineyard and in the cellar.

Distinction, roundness, power, generosity and balance are the main characteristics of Poujeaux wines.
