Les Chais du Port de la Lune - Prélude 2017 - Urban wine in the city of Bordeaux

Above all, Les Chais du Port de la Lune is a beautiful story. That of Laurent who dreamed of creating an urban wine, in the middle of the city. And why not the most emblematic wine city in the world: Bordeaux!

Joined by a friend, the project is launched in the middle of the historic district of Bordeaux Bacalan, a stone's throw from the Chartrons. In this district, he moved into old Blockaus from the Second World War to make his cellar. The place is perfect for an optimal and secure temperature :)

This urban cuvée made in Bordeaux is a blend of grapes from 3 organic and biodynamic growers. We therefore have a blend of 35% Syrah from Domaine de la Rune in Corbières - 30% Merlot from Domaine de l'Astré in Dordogne (also available on our site) and finally 35% Cabernet Sauvignon from Château Moulin de Rioucreux in Côtes de Blaye. A master vinification by Laurent, a professional oenologist, with fermentation in barrels and in separate batches to give depth to the quality of each grape variety. Aging for 8 months in barrels from a Bordeaux Premier Crus. Unpinned / unfiltered wine with a dose of 50mg of Total SO2.

An atypical and really pleasant wine that makes you want to. Aerate it for a few minutes in a carafe to have its full potential and a nice wine to keep for the future. Well done to them, it's a nice adventure and a superb wine. Cuvée of around 2000 bottles.

Hervé A. : Super vin. Des cépages de Bordeaux et du sud pour faire une cuvée atypique mais tout en grandeur et en finesse. Un grand vin de table avec une garde qui sera je pense exceptionnelle. Le prix est super en plus. J'en ai pris une bouteille pour essayer et là je viens d'en commander 12 pour en garder un peu. Livraison super rapide et emballage au top. Merci CDM
