Saint Estephe

This is one of the oldest estates in Saint-Estèphe. The terroir is located on gravel slopes mixed with limestone clay. The high proportion of Merlot (40%) provides exceptional mellowness, which is the source of the flattering wine qualifier "the most sensual of Bordeaux" awarded by Robert Parker.

Suitable for long aging favoring the expression of the terroir from which it comes, Marbuzet reveals formidable spicy and fruity notes. Considered by some ... as the most Burgundian of Bordeaux wines, Château Marbuzet was consecrated Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel during the revision of the classification of Crus Bourgeois in June 2003 as a reward for its high quality.
