Château Fombrauge, originally Fons Brogiera (source of heather and bush), has embodied the elegance of the Saint-Émilion Grands Crus for more than six centuries. The vineyard gave its first harvest in 1599, and since then it has delivered ever more complex and refined wines. Château Fombrauge is the greatest Grand Cru Classé in the region, and it is probably this challenge that seduced Bernard Magrez who acquired it in 1999. At Château Fombrauge, he has been able to combine ancestral know-how and viticulture of the precision.
