The Château de l'Evangile dates from the 18th century and will know various families until Baron Eric de Rothschild who bought the property in 1990 and acquired modern infrastructures thanks to significant investments. Located between Pétrus and Cheval Blanc , the 16 ha vineyard with a gravel clay soil is made up of 80% Merlot. The great wine of Château L'Evangile is a full, elegant wine with an incomparable bouquet and finesse. For many wine lovers, the subtle and elegant quality is indeed the hallmark of this wine.
