A true legend of the Pomerol appellation, Château La Conseillante is one of the most beautiful references of the Right Bank, in the Bordeaux region. Bearing witness to a prestigious wine heritage, the history of Château La Conseillante begins more than 300 years ago, when the influential Libournese merchant Catherine Conseillan acquired the property and gave it her name. Entered into the bosom of the Nicolas family in 1871, Château La Conseillante has survived the centuries shining with its exceptional vintages.

Because great wines are born from great terroirs, Château La Conseillante was born on exceptional lands. Pétrus, the Gospel and Cheval Blanc are none other than its most illustrious neighbors. With 12 hectares of vines, Château La Conseillante watches over an exceptionally rich vineyard. A veritable mosaic of terroirs, the clayey-gravelly soils combined with the famous iron dross subsoil give all the distinctive identity of the Château La Conseillante wines.

Elegance, finesse, the vintages of Château La Conseillante represent the quintessence of the Pomerol appellation by displaying this refined bouquet with scents of violets, the inimitable signature of the property. Almost sensual, the palate offers this silky smoothness delicately enhanced by the typical freshness of Pomerol which stretches powerfully over the length of a finish imbued with minerality. Signature of the house since 1871, Château La Conseillante is known to amateurs for its purple color, in homage to the characteristic fragrance of the Cru. Iconic and timeless, La Conseillante is one of those properties that embody the soul of Pomerol.
