This property is one of the oldest estates in the Saint-Emilion appellation, it belongs to the Malet-Roquefort family (established in Saint-Emilion for nearly 400 years). This 1er Grand Cru is located between the hills of Pavie and Ausone on a clay-limestone soil on hillsides and slightly siliceous at the foot of the hill.

This wine expresses pretty blackcurrant aromas with a slightly woody side. The palate is long, the tannins are silky and fine.
