Château POUJEAUX 1971

With its gravel terroir,
Château Poujeaux , an exceptional cru bourgeois, was for a long time the property of the Theil family, who worked for its reputation. George Pompidou loved it. In the Middle Ages, the Terre de Poujeaux was a Seigneury dependent on Latour Saint-Mambert, the future Château Latour. In 2008, the Cuvelier family (already owner of Clos Fourtet ) took over the destiny, by following on from it, they breathed new energy and a lot of ambition into this 52 ha property planted with 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. , 40% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot and Malbec.
