Chateau VILLEMAURINE 2014

September and October were very hot and dry, causing water constraints to appear for the Château Villemaurine vines during the second phase of ripening. In short, ideal conditions allowing a natural concentration of the berries and a refining of the tannins that August could not guarantee. Villemaurine 2014 is a Saint-Emilion made this year of 80% Merlot against 20% Cabernet-franc .

The wine displays a beautiful deep and dark red color. The nose easily releases beautiful notes of fresh and ripe black fruits. On the palate, the wine guarantees freshness and density, all associated with a beautiful minerality. We particularly like the straightforwardness of the tannins which round out on the finish.
