Domaine DENIS MORTET - Marsannays; The Longeroies 2016

Les Longeroies probably comes from the old French roie which means sillon. The south-facing plot located mid-slope is made up of numerous limestone scree resting on deep soils. This flagship climate of the AOC is likely to soon become Premier Cru.

The raw fruit explodes in the mouth with a tactile impression of smoothness left by already very melted tannins. It is a tasty wine that opens up quickly.
