The story of this die-hard Game of Thrones fan and a bit of a perfectionist is a fascinating one. After getting drunk on all the episodes and devouring the books by noting each of the wine references, Thibault was able to form a precise description of the wine he would like to create. 40 pages of Word description and several hours of meticulous analyzes later, the young man was able to draw up a precise file. It will be a fruity, powerful, spicy and woody wine. The process ultimately results in the production of a 2016 Castillon Côte de Bordeaux, called Dornish Wine. The bottle evokes the universe of Game of Thrones, through its label and by its shape. And the wine wins more than a success of curiosity. The conquering silhouette of the barge, the sail in the wind turned towards the future, embodies their daring approach.

No die-hard Game of Thrones fan can claim to ignore the importance of wine, whether in the series or more so in the books. Wine occupies a decisive place, sometimes even fatal (no panic, no spoils in sight) in the saga.

So this young winegrower, aged 29, took on the crazy gamble of creating Dorne wine. Welcome to Dornish Wine. “Only friends can drink it! This great idea comes to us from a Bordeaux winegrower, for whom wine is a family affair. For nearly 300 years, the Bardet vineyard has worked in the values of family tradition, respect for the environment and innovation in the heart of Saint-Emilion.
