JJ PRÜM - Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese (mellow) 2016

Pure, precise and refreshing, this Riesling opens on the nose with fresh aromas of slate sprinkled with droplets of acacia honey. Extremely well defined, it expresses on the palate intense aromas of ripe fruit evoking apple, pear and blood orange supported by characteristic notes of slate and vanilla. Its crystalline finish is long, pure and refined, enhanced with touches of smoke and anise.

Mythical Moselle estate, JJ Prüm was born in 1911 from the division of the family estate established in the 17th century. Sébastien Prüm then his son, Dr Manfred Prüm, at its head since 1969, made it one of the undisputed stars of the Moselle. The vineyard covers 22 hectares spread over several prestigious plots (Graacher Himmelreich, Badstube in Bernkastel, etc.), the flagship of which is the very famous Wehlener Sonnenuhr.
