Particularly smoky, The Peat Monster does not deny its island origins and gives pride of place to malts from the Isle of Islay from Port Askaig marked by their elegant smokiness and those from the south of the island with a much more earthy character and medicinal. Speyside is however represented there with the Ardmore distillery renowned among connoisseurs for the excellence of its smoked malts. From aging in first and second fill bourbon barrels. The selected malts are 10 to 16 years old.

For 2019, The Peat Monster returns to its origins. New look, fans will recognize the design of The Peat Monster 10 th anniversary. It's also a new, simpler recipe to get to the point. Composed this time of 2 Single malts from Islay and a Blended malt from the highlands, this Peat Monster is aimed at those seeking the perfect balance between intense peat, freshness and aromatic richness.
