PLANTATION RHUM - Jamaica - 40% 2002
The Ferrand house, one of the best French bottlers, offers us here in its Plantation range, the rum Jamaica on the 2002 vintage. This one comes from distilled rums in traditional still and in column. They are then aged 9 years in barrels of Bourbon and Sherry in Tropicla climate. Then a ripening is done for 3 years in barrels of Cognac in France in the wonderful region of Cognac.
This vintage 2002 is a beautiful and great success. Velvet on the palate with notes of exotic fruits (banana, passion and annanas). A bottle to have in his cellar of rums absolutely.
Little more than we like a lot at Clos des Millesimes, it is the raffia cleavage that decorates the bottles. Originally used to protect bottles and protect against counterfeits, this traditional method brings a real plus to the authenticity and charm of these bottles.
