Sauternes

Located on the highest point of the communes of Fargues and Sauternes, Château Rieussec, neighbor of Yquem, has a single-block vineyard, with clay-gravelly or clay-sandy soil. The reputation of this cru is a measure of the exceptional quality of its wines. The latter, with a sustained golden robe, are complex, powerful and concentrated. This wine is one of the richest and most opulent of the appellation. Very fruity, revealing notes of sweet spices and vanilla, it is remarkably complex.
