 Château Saint-Ayme - or Saintem as we can see it written - is one of the many small estates that Denis Durantou operates during his walk in the vineyards of Libourne. Indeed, he also committed Les Cruzelles et la Chenade in Lalande-de-Pomerol, l'Eglise-Clinet in Pomerol or even Montlandrie in Saint-Émilion.

With this domain, we are in the presence of a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru located in the town of Saint-Etienne-de-Lisse. The vineyard in one piece is planted with a unique and particularly qualitative rootstock, the riparia, associated with the only merlot. The careful cultivation practices allow this 35-year-old vineyard, worked like a garden, to produce less than fifty hectoliters per hectare.

Here as elsewhere, Denis Durantou applies his know-how and his methods which have raised him among the influential men of the Right Bank.
