BELLEVOYE Rouge- Whiskey from France - 43%
The deep amber color prepares for more power than the first born. And the nose does not deceive, the triple malt is rich, round, with nice spicy and honeyed notes. On the palate, the roundness which is the first sensation, around notes of cooked fruit is quickly invigorated by spicy notes, delicate but frank woody touches. The finish is warm, with spicy notes. Its aging is carried out in barrels of Banyuls, which gives it this style of Japanese whiskeys (because these are aged in Sherry barrels / close to the taste of Banyuls wines).
This Bellevoye remains elegant like its elder, but turns out to be a little more punchy and complex. It is further proof that whiskey made in France is not a whim or a fashion. So yes, if the Bellevoye blue is a sweet malt ideal for summer days, this Red will take over for the fall winter season!
