Dönnhoff - Leistenberg Kabinett (sec) 2016
Nahe

Leisteinberg is located on the side valley of the Nahe, near Oberhaussen. The terroir of shale and decomposed slate gives this wine great mineral purity. The vines are exposed south-east, where the sun shines all day long allowing a long period of maturation, perfect for a Kabinett (semi-dry wine).

The nose is pronounced on subtle notes of white flowers, peach, candied citrus fruits, spices and some notes of honey. A great minerality balances these gourmet scents of candied fruit.

On the palate, this balanced wine is endowed with great elegance between sweetness, tension and aromatic complexity.
