We have to go back to the Middle Ages to find traces, from 1147, of the Lords of Cantemerle. The management, some time entrusted to Maison Cordier, allows the renovation of the vineyard. In the Haut-Médoc appellation, on fine and deep gravel, the vineyard covers an area of 90 hectares. The wine of Château Cantemerle plays on a register of charm and harmony. It seems that the word elegance defines it best, due to the sweetness of its tannins and the subtle palette of its aromas.
