Henri affectionately nicknamed them the small terroirs, they are the ones who give birth to Châteauneuf known as “Henri Bonneau”. To do this, Henri chooses the juices representative of plots adjoining Crau which deserve all the attention and which do not always have the material to enter the selection made for Marie Beurrier and the Célestins Reserve.

This 2013 Châteauneuf is grandiose due to its aromatic complexity. As the oxygenation progresses, we switch from noble grapes (semi-destemmed or whole harvest at Bonneau), with notes of mocha, black pepper or fresh mint. The violet makes its appearance after a long opening. The palate impresses with its silky character despite a texture cut in a rather robust style. The tannins are as silky as ever, and the mineral length is breathtaking!

“My entry level” said Henri, who was in fact talking about the myth of an entire appellation.
