The origin of Château La Pointe, a property located in the Pomerol appellation, dates back to the beginning of the 19th century. The 22 hectares of the vineyard are based on a soil patchwork made of gravel and pebble soils from the Isle terraces, clay-gravelly soils, sandy soils on clay and sandy soils on gravel. Under the management of Eric Monneret, since 2008 the property has undertaken major works aimed at expressing the full potential of this vineyard and at being as close as possible to environmental issues. Hubert de Boüard de Laforest, co-owner of Château Angélus - and internationally renowned wine advisor - now shares his experience with the Château La Pointe team.
