Château LA FLEUR 2000
Château La Fleur is located in Saint-Emilion, in the Bordeaux wine region. Since 2002, it has belonged to Dassault Wine Estates. The Dassault family, a passionate pioneer of the aeronautics industry, new technologies and the art markets, became interested in fine wines very early on. The properties of Dassault Wine Estates have extended over the years over 50 hectares and today form one of the largest wine estates in Saint-Emilion. All the wine-growing work, carried out with care throughout the year, is thought out and reasoned according to the potential of the vintage and the different plots. These efforts contribute to obtaining optimum and healthy maturity of the grapes. The vinification work takes place in concrete and stainless steel tanks of small capacities, allowing each plot to be accommodated separately. These plot-based vinifications are coupled with vinifications in barrels.
Château La Fleur is a Merlot-dominant blend, completed with Cabernet Franc. The vinification is traditional, and the wine is aged in barrels, the majority of which are new.
Grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Franc
